„Wild Music from the Heart of Poland” – The concert

Everyone who was at a village wedding will remember the intensity of music, singing and dance. Swinging songs, melodies and rhythms – triple, but sophisticated in its polyrhythms – become visible through the steps and movements of the dancers. Temperature of the “happening” is raising, passionate music and dance lead to a common experience of improvisation and maybe even trance. This “wild music” carries in both the experience of “eternity” and authenticity rooted in the “here and now” . This is what we would like to share with you: the music we got from our masters and we love with all our hearts, mazureks, obereks, kujawiaks, wiwats and polonaises – played, sung and danced.
